Provided by the New York State Education Department, and the Enrollment Data submitted by each District, this visual shows enrollment by grade level within each district, as well as a district average.  Combined with a peer group, a district can easily assess their individual grade levels against those peers to ascertain whether or not their enrollment, per class, is of appropriate size.

Questions This Can Help Answer:

• How do our class sizes differ than those of our peers?  Are we above or under our district average in a per class basis?
• Do our grade levels differ in a significant way from each other?  Is there a distinct increase or decrease between classes that requires further research?
• As COVID-19 has dramatically shifted current year enrollment, do we expect district grade levels to increase in the next academic year, remain the same, or continue declining?
