As we get to the latter half of the school year, some districts are starting to look ahead to the 23-24 school year and are evaluating positions they need to hire for. It may be helpful for your district to know what other schools in your area are paying for the same position.

Within Comparative Analytics, there is a Salary Ranges Per District Per Position visual that will generate
that data very quickly. Based on salary data submitted to NYSED, this visual will highlight the salary range for any position in relation to the peer group of your choice.

This can help answer important questions like:

• What are our peers paying for certain positions?
• How does our pay range compare to that of our peer group?
• What is the average salary in our peer group?
