With a degree in Health and Physical Education, Kay has the expertise that people need to put wellness at the top of their “to-do” list. And don’t forget that Kay is never far from her roots as a professional standup comedian. People will laugh while they learn without straining their brains! Kay doesn’t preach from an ivory tower, but rather shares her experience as she has done everything you are NOT supposed to do! It was a long, winding, hilarious journey back to wellness and she happily shares what she learned along the way.
Motivational Humorist, Kay Frances, has shared her message to “lighten up, stress less and take care of ourselves” in 49 states and Canada for over 30 years. She holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration, a degree in Health and Education and a 4th degree black belt in karate. She was also a family caregiver for 7 years.
When it comes to humor, Kay is the "real deal" having performed as a professional standup comedian for many years and appearing on a number of national television and radio programs. Additionally, Kay is the author of “The Funny Thing about Stress; A Seriously Humorous Guide to a Happier Life.”
Join us for an exciting evening of games and music at the enchanting and historic Canfield Casino! The Canfield Casino is one of Saratoga Springs’ most treasured landmarks, built as a gambling casino by John Morrissey in 1870. Although gambling was ended at the Canfield by reformers in 1907, attendees will have the opportunity to step back in time during the evening, enjoying various games of chance. Dj MIke Reilly will be there for those who prefer dancing! The evening will also include a wide variety of food, enjoyed buffet style. Space is limited. Transportation will be provided.

ASBO New York has secured room blocks at the following hotels for the 2019 School Business Management Workshop. Reservations for housing should be made directly by the individual with the hotel of choice. Please note that there is a three night minimum reservation required for the Saratoga Hilton (Headquarters Hotel) and a two night minimum at the other hotels. Reservations for The Saratoga Hilton can only be made on-line at the website shown below. Taxes will be removed upon receipt of your tax exempt form by the hotel. Bookings for all other hotels may be called in using the group codes shown or made on-line where websites are listed.
Purchase Orders are accepted and must be received by the hotel 14 days prior to check-in. If booking online, a credit card will be needed to hold the reservation. Purchase orders will cover room charge. Guests will be responsible for incidentals. Reservations will be tax exempt if the proper paperwork provided at check-in.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations of conference registrations must be made in writing and received in the ASBO office by October 15 for a full refund minus a $50.00 administration fee. Cancellations received October 16 or after WILL NOT be refunded. Payment will be required on any outstanding invoices.
